I’ve spent most of my teenage years trying to understand my skin — breakouts, irritation, eczema and products with ingredient lists that I'm unfamiliar or cannot even spell. I wanted something that would work, something I could actually trust. That search is what led me to start making my own soaps and oil blends, first just for myself, then slowly for others. What began as a small personal project became the heart of Jhislaine Lewellyn New Zealand.

Every product we create is made with the kind of care I always wished for: simple and natural. We use only premium oils, butters, and natural ingredients — not sulphates, parabens, artificial fragrances, or anything unnecessary. Just what your skin needs, nothing more.

Our values are rooted in simplicity, mindfulness, and quiet luxury. For me, skin care should feel comforting, and simple. It should support your well-being and honour the environment, which is why each item is handcrafted with intention and respect for nature.

The name Jhislaine Lewellyn carries a piece of my story too — created in loving memory of my older sister, whose presence continues to inspire everything we make. Her name is woven into every product, a reminder of love, gentleness, and the beauty of caring for yourself with intention.
